Maha govt staff call off proposed strike

Representatives of the Mahasangh, Maharashtra State Central Employees Organisation, Zilla Parishad employees association and teachers organisations also attended the meeting. The government has agreed to double the travelling allowance with effect from April 1 next year, Kulthe said. Maternity leave for women employees has also been doubled, from the present 90 days to 180 days, he added.
