Bharti: Looking out
India’s largest wireless service provider, Bharti Airtel is expanding its international operations by buying a majority stake in Bangladesh’s fourth largest wireless telephony service provider, Warid Telecom. NComputing to double deployments in India this year

US-based provider of low-cost shared computing technology NComputing Inc is aiming at doubling its deployments in India to 400,000 by the end of the calendar 2009. We are now working on adopting more open source software like Ubuntu and developing newer versions of our existing products, which will enable connectivity to USB and more peripheral devices. These products are being rolled out incrementally worldwide and we will be launching them in India in the next one or two quarters,” he said.
