Pipe manufacturer Jindal Saw today reported a 46.36 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 146.48 crore for the third quarter ended September 2009. The firm had a net profit of Rs 100.08 crore in the September quarter of FY"09, Jindal Saw said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Piramal Healthcare okays Rs 1K cr fund raising

The committee of directors (of board) has been empowered to take a final decision on the pricing, mode and manner of raising such funds, it said. Shares of Piramal Healthcare were trading at Rs 400.10 on the BSE, down 3.47 per cent from its previous close.
